Steering Committee

The AAMHRS Steering Committee works to build a network that will guide mentees in grant writing and research.
The work is done through the following subcommittees:

Selection Subcommittee, oversees the application and selection process for each cohort of
mentees and mentors
Grant Review Subcommittee, assists with grant writing process to ensure that mentees develop
high quality grant proposals and submit them to NIMH, and also assists mentees with grant resubmission.
Grant Development Subcommittee, coordinates and facilitates application for funding with which to
continue the work of AAMHRS
